Bet on Rats started by happenstance. One strange night turned into a loose cut demo, which turned into asking more people to get involved, which became something we could all stomp our feet and clap our hands to. It’s music that complains about the state of, well, everything, and to laugh about it together. The world can be an ugly place, but it’s how we deal with it that matters. Yet, when all else fails.. Bet on Rats.

Five By Five:
“Five by Five” is a 3 piece band from Grand Rapids, Mi. Forming in 2015.
Below is a quote from Catherine Neely on the Band’s Facebook page explaining how she feels why the band works so well together.
“We were three people who wanted to play loud music and didn’t care if it sounded terrible or not; we just wanted to play, and get out some of our anger issues. Thus, Five by Five was born out of a need to be who we are and play whatever we felt like playing. We have no set music style-we do what we want!” – Catherine Neely
This quote sums up well what the band is all about. Their songs don’t follow a genre so to speak, but most people classify them as a “Mid 90’s Riot Grrrl Punk” band in the vein of bands like; “Sleater-Kinney”, “The Go-Go’s”, “Team Dresch”, Amanda Palmer, and the “Yeah Yeah Yeah’s”.

Westside Rebellion:
Members of bands like The Holy Warheads and Murder Party!, as well as solo musicians like Thomas Gun, American Zombie Inquisition, Dead Eye Zack, and Nate Maynard all joined forces to form THE WESTSIDE REBELLION.
